So I know it's only November 13 but is it too early to start thinking about December and the holidays?! I am excited because this will be the first year I will be participating in Ali Edwards' December Daily. It is a December mini-album project that documents the 25 days leading up to Christmas. The simple goal is to capture the spirit of December via one story per day. Instead of just documenting 25 days of December, I wanted document all 31 days. I wanted to include Bear's first birthday and also my brother's birthday which happens to be on New Year's Eve.
My goal is to have a simple approach for my first December Daily. To keep with this simple/minimalist theme, I got this album from Amazon. I added an adhesive metal bookplate (got it from here) which i plan on putting this year date.
To further simplify the process, have jotted down a few things I want to capture this holiday season:
- Our Mini Christmas Tree
- Bear and Miso's Birthday
- Target/Christmas shopping
- Natalie's Birthday
- William's Birthday
- Snow/Outdoor with Bear
- Baking Holiday Cookies
- Annual Holiday Party
- Holiday Wreath
- Starbucks (Gingerbread Latte!)
Thought this would be a good basic start to fill in some of the days and document the rest as them come up! Do you document the holidays and how do you document?!
Awesome idea. Post the updates of the binder!!
