I have been wanting to make these birthday headbands for awhile now. Ever since I saw a post from Adventures in Fashion, I had been searching in so many Michael's stores to find the letters used to make them. One day, I found them! But they were these crazy lime green color. Light bulb, I could paint these! Check out the easy steps to make your very own headband.
MATERIALS:
- Headbands (got 1/2 inch black from Amazon)
- Letters (Michaels)
- Hot gluegun
- Paint color of your choice
- Paintbrush
INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1: Using the paint color of your choice, paint the letters. Let them dry for 1 hour. I painted two coats due to the brightness of the green.
Step 2: Test out the spacing of the letters on the headband. Once you got them to your liking, use the hot glue gun and individually glue the letters to the headband. Press down hard to ensure the letters stick.
