Week 16 (April 12 - April 18)

For consistency, I plan on using Design A for all 52 weeks. I like the ratio of 4x6 and 3x4 pockets. Used a combination of Midnight Edition Core Kit filler cards and some printables.

I have been helping out and getting ready to work a wedding coming up in June as a Day of Coordinator. On Sunday, the bride, groom and I had a walk-through with the owner. The tent where the reception will be held is incredible. It reminds me of a circus tent with the flags on top. I can't wait to see it is fully decorated.
Last Tuesday was free cone day at Ben and Jerry's. Monday would have been a better day to have it cause it was so nice out. Tuesday was all rainy but that did not stop us from getting our cones! We were thinking, well it was raining, people will be less inclined to get ice cream. When we got there, there was a decent amount of people but they had set it up so efficiently, it made the line move really fast.
We celebrated my dad's birthday at Maggiano's. We went family style for dinner and the waiter was being hilarious and saying, "good luck". Because we had three starters but they brought out 2 dishes of each. Then 4 entrees and 2 dishes of those. Little did they know, we can eat!

So I dedicated the whole right side of the spread to SKYDIVING! This was on my 30 before 30 list. I only have a few days left so a few weeks ago I had bought a Livingsocial Deal for it. I had been putting this off for a long time. I was scared to do it but when I saw the Livingsocial deal and had bought it. I had to go. One, because it's non refundable. Two, you can't let a purchased deal go to waste.
When I had schedule my jump, the day before I got a call, saying they had to do maintenance. My sister was saying, that is a sign not to jump! Then when I rescheduled for the week after, forgot I had another prior engagement to do so had to change the date again. Okay, third time's a charm right?! I didn't get a call but when I arrived the morning off. They were saying the ground was too wet so they would have to push back a few hours. I was already there so I stuck it out.
The first group jumped to test out where the plane can land. They decided to move to another airport which was 20 minutes away. So we had to drive there, in my car, I had 4 of the instructors with me. Funny thing was that they were saying, if we were to fly, it would have been 2 miles. Oh the inner roads to Virginia.
Finally, they got fuel in the plane and we were off! Everything after that went by so fast. There was really no time to be afraid. The instructors were really great and made you feel at ease. Also they were really funny so it makes it better. The whole experience was so thrilling and worth it! I would do it again!
